Rebalance a checking account against a bank statement. Enter the statement's starting and ending balances, keep a running ledger of checks and deposits (marking which items have cleared), and watch the machine total everything, carry a live running balance to every row, tally what is still outstanding, and drive the reconciliation difference to exactly zero.
Take these from your bank statement — the starting balance is the statement's opening line, the ending balance is its closing line. "Clear" a transaction in the ledger when it appears on the statement.
One transaction per row. Toggle CHK / DEP to classify each item; the running balance updates live on every row.

Your adjusted bank balance (statement ending + outstanding deposits − outstanding checks) must equal your checkbook balance. Difference zero means reconciled.
