Freight carriers bill the greater of the package’s actual weight and its dimensional (volumetric) weight. Divide the cubic volume by the carrier’s dim factor, round up to the nearest whole unit, then compare. Small-parcel and LTL carriers each publish their own divisor — confirm yours before quoting. This tool only estimates.
