Loan offers
Add each offer on its own card. Amounts, rates, terms and fees may all differ — that is the point.
Payment and total cost under each card update live as you type. A loan is used in the comparison only when its name, amount, rate, term and fees are all filled in and valid.
Side-by-side comparison waiting
Add at least two complete loans above — the comparison updates live.

Careful: these offers are for different amounts, so raw total cost is apples-to-oranges. Compare the Cost / $100 column to judge each deal on a level playing field — or if you truly need different amounts, weight the decision by total cost.
How this works & assumptions
Monthly payment uses the standard amortization formula M = P × r ÷ (1 − (1+r)−n) where P is the amount borrowed, r the monthly rate and n the number of months.
Total interest = total payments over the full term − the amount borrowed.
True total cost = all monthly payments over the term + upfront fees. This is the complete dollars-out-the-door figure and is what the best-deal highlight is based on. Because loans may carry different amounts, always read it against the amount you actually need.
True cost / $100 normalizes total cost to every $100 borrowed: true total cost ÷ amount × 100. This is the fairest single number when offer amounts differ.
Effective APR treats upfront fees as reducing the cash you actually receive: the deal nets P − fees while you still repay the full amount. The effective monthly rate that makes the present value of your payments equal that net proceeds is found numerically and annualised. With zero fees it equals the quoted rate.
A “best” loan is simply the one with the lowest true total cost among complete, valid entries. Estimates are illustrative — confirm rates, fees and totals with each lender before you sign.
